Spanadors are the result of crossing a Labrador with a Cocker Spaniel to produce a pet that is generally smaller than a Labrador with a friendly temperament and easy to train. Coat is easy to maintain and is gold, black or chocolate in colour.
Crossing two purebred dogs produces pups with hybrid vigour and genetic problems are rare. Sometimes appearance can vary – most are short-coated but some may have feathering on tails, legs, and ears.
Obedience training and socialisation is recommended for these active and smart pets, and lots of human companionship.
